Our first fishing match of 2010 took place on Saturday 6th March and in spite of the water still being very cold the winning bag, pictured, exceeded 20lb with others not a mile behind.

The fishing is really hotting up at Pinetrees this season. Darren Barks shows off his 43lb haul of mostly Bream caught in 2 hours on the silver fish lake and at last someone has managed to land one of our 15lb plus Carp. We knew they were there, including some over 30lb,  but everyone has been having fun losing them until now.

Mr Bob Raelle managed a 34lb haul of bream yesterday on the new lake. Both lakes are fishing well and it's great to see another cracking bag of fit, healthy fish.  Apparently the bream had an appetite for sweetcorn yesterday.
