Enjoy Your Fishing

Our fishing lakes are beautifully landscaped and offer the angler a peaceful environment in which to pursue their quarry.

We have two, acre lakes side by side with excellent stocking levels and some real success the last two years. Bags in excess of 30lb are not uncommon and there are individual carp that would challenge that weight on their own; but can you catch them?

The older of the lakes is well stocked with mixed fishing but has the greater percentage of carp, including all the big ones, not to mention some specimen Perch if you like a good fight. The younger lake is mixed as well but mostly silver fish and a real must for the Bream lover. We introduced our first Ide in 2009 and they have been showing well and are growing fast. We manage our stock levels very well, introducing new fish each year to keep the feeding pressure on but not so many as to risk the health of our fish. The comment we love to hear from our anglers is what lovely fish they are catching. We also have some pitches on the drain that runs through the site; if you like your fishing a little wilder and less predictable, give it a go.

We have a well-stocked tackle shop with everything you should need available. Most types of bait are available throughout the season including a veritable rainbow of maggots. Our water warden, Carl, resides in the bait shop and is always ready to advise on what is and isn’t allowed on the lakes along with what people are reporting success with. Let him know if you land a big one and he’ll get your photo up on the website. Our tackle shop prices are reasonable so if you forget to pack something or break a trace you don’t have to spoil your day.
